TAULT translators live around the world, and the authors we represent and work with live both in and outside Ukraine. We are currently headquartered in Bristow, Virginia. For English-language presses:
Presses in the U.S., U.K., and Canada wishing to request translation samples and other supporting materials, or discuss current funding opportunities available for the translation and publication of Ukrainian literature, are encouraged to email Zenia Tompkins at zenia@tault.org.
For ukrainian publishers:
Ukrainian publishers seeking to cooperate with TAULT should email copies of their two most recent catalogs to info@tault.org. Please note that TAULT works primarily with younger authors, but also strives to support emerging authors of any age.
TAULT translators are available to assist Ukrainian presses with the translation of samples and catalogs for international book fairs. We offer discounted rates for these translations and will make every effort to work within your budget. Likewise, Ukrainian authors in need of an English translation sample or resume are offered discounted rates based on their means. To inquire about the availability of our translators or to discuss rates, please contact Zenia Tompkins at zenia@tault.org.
TAULT currently does not offer translation support for non-literary organizations in Ukraine.
Submissions:
TAULT is currently not accepting submissions directly from translators or Ukrainian authors. Translators wishing to join TAULT’s pool of affiliated translators should email a resume, letter of interest, and 10-pg translation sample accompanied by the original text to info@tault.org. Please note that we are only able to work with and recommend translators with native-level ability in English. We are happy, however, to work with and provide support to translators early in their careers.
